Privacy Policy and Data Processing

1. Data Controller

The controller of the data collected through this website is Filipe Ferreira, Fullstack Software Developer. For any question about the privacy and protection of your personal data, you can contact me directly by email: geral@filipeferreiradev.pt.

2. Personal Data Collected and Purpose

This website follows the principle of data minimisation (Article 5(1)(c) GDPR). We only collect the data you voluntarily provide through the contact form:

• Name: To identify you and personalise the reply;
• Email address: So that we can reply to your request for a diagnosis or proposal;
• Company or project (optional): For technical and commercial context;
• Description of your need: To assess technical feasibility and prepare the service proposal.

The sole purpose of the collection is pre-contractual communication, answering requests for information and, where applicable, preparing commercial proposals for software development.

Messages from the form are sent through the Web3Forms service, which acts only as a delivery intermediary (processor), and arrive in the mailbox geral@filipeferreiradev.pt. They are not used for marketing or shared with anyone else.

Requests for a free online presence review (name, business, municipality, the business’s online address, email and/or phone) are used only to prepare and send that review, go through the same service and follow the same retention period.

3. Lawful Basis

Data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps taken at the request of the data subject) and the explicit consent given when the contact form is submitted.

4. No Invasive Tracking

This website does not use invasive tracking cookies, behavioural advertising or third-party profiling tools (such as Facebook Pixel or Google Ads).

To understand how many people visit the website and from which countries and cities, we use Umami, a cookie-free analytics tool. It does not collect or store full IP addresses, does not build individual profiles and does not follow visitors across websites.

We only use local storage (localStorage) in your own browser: to remember your visual theme preference (light or dark mode) and, if you try the demos, to keep the fictitious data you enter. This information is not sent to any server and can be deleted with the "Reset demo" button or in your browser settings.

5. Data Retention

Data collected through contact requests will be kept only for as long as strictly necessary to answer the request and conclude commercial conversations (a maximum of 12 months if no contractual relationship follows), and will be deleted after that period.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right at any time to request access, rectification, erasure (the right to be forgotten) or restriction of the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, email geral@filipeferreiradev.pt.
